Introducing Sora!

In collaboration with New Haven Free Public Library, we are proud to announce the kick-off of the Sora e-book application.  Sora, available through NHPS, connects directly to the NHFPL Overdrive application and offers our Pre-K through Grade 12 students and teachers access to almost 3000 eBooks and 800 audiobooks.

• Google Single Sign On allows student and teacher checkout from both collections with @nhps.net Google accounts
• Access to an always available e-book collection for New Haven Public Schools
• Access to the New Haven Free Public Library Overdrive collection
• Advanced search options for individual reading levels
• Compatible with tablets, Chromebooks, and computers

Sora can be easily accessed on our iPads via the Sora App or once signed into a student @nhps.net Google account on our Chromebooks. Just click on the “Waffle” icon of Google Apps and scroll down Or visit the Library Media Center Website for more details.
